How AEclipse Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated: April 2026

1. Who we are

AEclipse Limited ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England & Wales. Registered office: Military House, Castle Drive, Chester, CH1 2DS. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and the AEclipse platform.

2. What information we collect

  • Contact details you provide via our forms — name, email address, phone number, company name, and the message you send us.
  • Auto enrolment data processed on behalf of our clients — employee names, NI numbers, salary, contribution amounts and similar data required to fulfil pension submissions. We process this data as a processor on behalf of the employer.
  • Technical data — your IP address, browser type, and how you use our website.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and demo requests submitted through our forms.
  • To deliver the AEclipse platform and the auto enrolment services we are contracted to provide.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • To improve our website and platform.

4. Lawful basis

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR: contract (to deliver the services you've engaged us for), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and improving our offering), and legal obligation (where regulation requires us to retain or disclose data).

5. How we share your data

We only share data where it is necessary to deliver our services or where required by law. This may include:

  • The pension provider you have selected (NEST, People's Pension, Smart, Now, Scottish Widows, Legal & General, Aviva, Collegia, etc.).
  • HMRC or The Pensions Regulator where legally required.
  • Trusted IT and infrastructure providers operating under contract to us.

We never sell your data.

6. Security

All data uploads to AEclipse use an encrypted link. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Access is restricted to staff who need it to do their job.

7. How long we keep data

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or for the period required by law (auto enrolment record-keeping is governed by The Pensions Regulator's guidance — typically six years).

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data (where applicable).
  • Object to processing or request restriction.
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

9. Cookies

This website uses minimal essential cookies only. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
